The 51st annual Rocky Mountain Summer Music Camp takes place in the University Center for the Arts at Colorado State University. Nearly 300 students are already registered for this intensive music performance camp.
Imagine yourself at the foot of the majestic Rocky Mountains, spirit soaring while performing in ensembles, receiving individualized instruction, and taking numerous elective classes – all designed to enhance your artistic training and improve your music skills.
Imagine having the rare opportunity to be showcased with famous conductors and clinicians, internationally acclaimed band directors, and celebrity performers while experiencing innovative teaching approaches that enhance your instrumental, vocal and orchestral experience.
This summer you can take your playing to the next level during the six day intensive performance camp for students entering 7th grade through new high school graduates. While at camp you will participate in one of five primary tracks: band, jazz, choir, orchestra and harp.
If you enjoyed marching percussion at camp in years past, CSU is now offering special marching instruction as part of the New Marching Band Leadership Camp (also for Drum Majors, Section Leaders, and Color Guard).
The goal of the Colorado State University Rocky Mountain Summer Music Camp is to provide a paramount training ground for enthusiastic music students, furnishing them with the tools they need to learn, create, collaborate, perform and excel.
You will work with renowned conductors and clinicians, while experiencing innovative teaching approaches that enhance your instrumental, vocal and orchestral experience.
CSU Summer Music Camp features the Advanced High School Institute. The 2-day optional camp supplement prepares students for entrance into major university music degree programs.
We look forward to seeing you in July!
