June salary payday change

June 21, 2013

HR reminds salaried employees that June's payday will be July 1 this year; hourly payroll employees not affected.

Senate Bill 03-197 requires the university to shift the payday for salaried employees  to the first working day in July -- July 1, 2013. This shift only impacts paydays for salaried employees for the month of June; other months are not impacted and your payday will resume a normal schedule in July. Hourly payroll employees are not impacted by this shift.

If you are paid once a month, your payday for work in June 2013 will be on Monday, July 1 – a one business day delay – instead of June 28. If you have automatic payments drawn from your bank account, or other time-sensitive considerations, it is important that you work with your bank and creditors to make them aware of this shift and make arrangements.

We recognize that this requirement may be an inconvenience to you, and we want to reassure you that CSU is committed to providing accurate and timely payments to our employees.
