Italian cooking class

February 11, 2009

Feeling dazed and confused in the kitchen these days? Let us help you learn some basic cooking and shopping techniques while we teach you how to cook Italian food.

Let’s face it, nobody has a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. Nutrition Services at Hartshorn wants to show you how to get in and out of there in 30 minutes or less and do so on a budget.

In addition to learning how to prepare two delicious Italian dishes that are quick and easy, you’ll also learn some basic shopping tips to keep money in your wallet. And of course, you’ll be tasting these creations. We’ll also send you home with a $2 cookbook!

The class will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18 from 5-6:30 p.m. in Gifford Building, room 239.

Please RSVP (so that we know how much food to buy) by Friday, Feb. 13 by calling or stopping by at Hartshorn Health Promotions front desk at (970) 491-1702.
