Who will take home the top prize in this year's Battle of the Bands? Find out at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lory Student Center Theater.
Six Colorado bands will battle it out for the top prize of $750 in this year’s CSU Battle of the Bands. Participating groups include Savage Cabbage, Party Boys of the Century, Brittany Devens, Continuum, The Symbols and Vermillion Road. The check will be given to whichever band wins the most votes from the audience, with help from hosts Sesugh Solomon and DJ Diego Felix.
The wide variety of genres represented will make for an interesting night – hard rock, ska, folk, singer-songwriter, and alternative rock. Each band has a standout sound, making for a series of great performances and a difficult decision for audience members.
Admission is $5 for CSU students and $10 for the public. Tickets can be purchased at the IBox next to the LSC Transit Center, online at CSUtix.com, or at the door.
