Registration is now open for Colorado State's first Thought Leadership Webinar Series through OnlinePlus. Some of today's hottest topics -- affecting our entire culture -- will be presented by experts who'll cite research-driven information.

Colorado State University OnlinePlus has launched its first Thought Leadership Webinar Series featuring nationally recognized faculty and New York Times best-selling CSU alumna, Tasha Eurich, Ph.D.

Throughout the five free webinars, attendees will have the chance to learn from these experts’ research-driven information on some of today’s hottest topics that affect our entire culture.

Alumna's NYT best-seller

New York Times best-selling author and CSU alumna, Tasha Eurich, will kick off the series on March 19 with an exciting look into her most recent book, Bankable Leadership: Happy People, Bottom-Line Results, and the Power to Deliver Both.

Her book and presentation are built on years of experience solving leadership challenges in large Fortune 500 organizations, including CH2M HILL, Xcel Energy, Western Union, and more. 

CSU alumna and New York Times bestselling author Tasha Eurich was honored in 2013 as one of Denver Business Journal's '40 under 40' rising stars in business.Her expertise has been featured in The New York Times and Forbes and she has published articles in Chief Learning Officer Magazine, The CEO Magazine, Leadership Excellence, and more. In addition, Eurich was honored in 2013 as one of Denver Business Journal’s “40 under 40” rising stars in business.

Eurich will be joined in the series by expert CSU faculty on the cutting edge of research in their fields. The five online talks, akin to “mini lectures,” are scheduled as follows:

"Bankable leadership: Happy people, bottom-line results, and the power to deliver both" - Wednesday, March 19, Noon – 1 p.m. MDT

Tasha Eurich, will help attendees better understand their leadership style and learn to balance employee morale with bottom line results.

"Animal rights as a mainstream phenomenon" - Tuesday, March 25, 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. MST

CSU Distinguished Professor, Dr. Bernard Rollin, discusses society’s increasing concern about animal treatment and welfare, and sheds light on the ethical basis for legal protection of animals.

This session is also available in-person at the CSU OnlinePlus office in Drake Hall (2545 Research Blvd., Fort Collins, CO 80526). "New targets in the war on cancer (cells)"  -  Wednesday, April 16, 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. MDT

Attendees learn what makes cancer cells different,  and what new drug therapies mean for treatment, with leading cancer researcher and CSU professor, Dr. Paul Laybourn.

"Your immortal digital life: Thinking about the preservation or deletion of your online legacy" - Thursday, May 8, 11:30 – 12:30 p.m., MDT

This presentation explores thoughts and criticisms surrounding the ideas of digital immortality and social media ethics with Dr. Pete Seel of CSU’s Department of Journalism and Technical Communication.

"Open data to improve public sector performance" - Wednesday, May 21, 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. MDT

Big data expert Richard Schleusener discusses different approaches to interpreting data, and how to make insights understandable for clients and organizations.

Each hour-long, free webinar includes a Q&A session to allow attendees to personalize their experience with our experts. Sessions will be available “on-demand” for a limited time after the live event.
