Hanumatpresaka Swami will appear at Colorado State to lecture about "The Light of the Bhagavata." Bhafavat is the tradition of devotion to the worship of Krishna, the Hindu deity.

Spiritual leader to speak

The CSU student-led Mantra Meditation Group in the Department of Philosophy has invited renowned spiritual leader Hanumatpresaka Swami to CSU to speak. He'll be speaking about "The Light of the Bhagavata." Bhafavat is the tradition of devotion to the worship of Krishna, the Hindu deity.

Cultivating the human spirit

Hanumatpresaka Swami holds degrees in psychology, biology and electrical engineering. During his doctoral studies, he became convinced that "Western knowledge could be fruitfully augmented by Oriental wisdom."

Hanumatpresaka Swami has embraced a mission to explain the intracacies of meditation and contemplation to complete the cultivation of the human spirit.

He takes this mission all over the globe, traveling to India, Russia, Peru, Australia and Europe.

Hanumatpresaka Swami is the founder and General Secretary of the North America Institute for Oriental and Classical Studies.
