Service Project on Colorado Fourteener Sept. 18-20

Give back to the mountains of Colorado this weekend with a trail repair/building event co-sponsored by the Outdoor Adventure Program in Campus Recreation and the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative.

An adventure that gives back

Give back to the mountains of Colorado this weekend with a trail repair/building event co-sponsored by the Outdoor Adventure Program in Campus Recreation and the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative. This year the service project will focus on Mount Bierstadt (14,060').

When:  Friday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 20 (trip departs Friday at 4 p.m.)

Trip includes:

  • all transportation
  • group camping gear
  • group food
  • instruction by professional trail builders
  • equipment such as boots and gloves

Register by Sept. 16

To register stop by the Service Desk in the Student Rec Center. Sign up deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.
