"A treat for music lovers"

Colorado State arts patron Ted Pratt says, "I've been a fan of CSU music of all kinds, but the highlight is when the choirs combine for a concert in the beautiful Griffin Hall. It's a deep blending of rich voices under skilled conductors and a true treat for music lovers."

On Friday, Oct. 9 in Griffin Concert Hall, The School of the Arts presents a choral tapestry featuring the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Choir Alumni, and special guests.

The University Chorus and the Women’s Chorus perform a variety of selections composed during several historical eras and from across the world, including South America, Canada, Europe, India, and the United States.

Superb acoustics

Concert hall acoustics are enhanced by the hall's construction and the reflections of sound from multiple surfaces. Griffin Concert Hall enjoys excellent acoustics--in fact, when Griffin Concert hall opened with a performance by the string quartet from Juilliard, the quartet remarked, "The acoustics are superb. One of the best halls in which we've played!"
