Nominations for State Classified Outstanding Achievement Award now open

January 7, 2014

The Outstanding Achievement Awards present an important opportunity to recognize exceptional co-workers, employees, and supervisors at CSU.

The Classified Personnel Council is pleased to announce that nominations for the Colorado State University Outstanding Achievement Awards for State Classified employees are now open. Up to five awards will be given, consisting of a special plaque, an award of $1000, and recognition at special events. Nomination materials become part of an employee's permanent record.

The Outstanding Achievement Awards present an important opportunity to recognize exceptional co-workers, employees, and supervisors at the university. The Council is very proud of past winners and hope you will make every effort to nominate deserving employees.

Guidelines for submitting nominations

Nominations are encouraged from everyone -- co-workers, peers, supervisors, or other colleagues -- for all employees in the State Classified system. Group, department, or unit efforts to nominate individuals are encouraged.

Be specific in your nomination: Why do you think this person should be recognized? What makes them an outstanding employee?

Recipients of past awards are not eligible for a period of 10 years. A list of past recipients can be found on the CPC website.

To insure fairness and consistency when submitting nominations, please follow the guidelines located on the CPC website.
