Think Pink: First-place Rams host Air Force

The CSU women's basketball team will celebrate breast cancer awareness Saturday and show fans just how good they are in coach Ryun Williams' second season when they host Air Force in the annual "Pink Out" game at Moby Arena.

Senior center Sam Martin leads the 17-4 Rams in scoring.The Rams (17-4, 9-1 Mountain West) are off to their best start in 12 seasons and within reach of their first postseason tournament berth since 2004. They are leading the Mountain West and are in position to win their first conference title since 2002.

Help support new cancer center

Fan are invited to “Pack the House” and wear pink for the noon game. Ticket prices have been reduced to $4 and $2, with all proceeds donated to the new UC Health Cancer Center, currently under construction in Fort Collins.

Free waffles, yogurt!

CSU student with valid ID will get free pink waffles while supplies last, and TCBY will provide free pink frozen yogurt to all fans.

Air Force has won just one game this season. The Rams, who are led in scoring by senior Sam Martin with 12.4 points per game, lead the series with the Falcons 40-11. Newcomer AJ Newton leads the Rams in 3-pointers and is second in assists, while a host of newcomers from European countries have played exceptionally well.
