Open Forums for CSFS Director Candidates set for end of February

February 15

Three candidates for State Forester will be on campus to meet CSU faculty, staff and the general public.

The Colorado State Forest Service has selected three final candidates for the position of CSFS Director/State Forester, each of whom will be interviewed later this month.

As part of the position search, each candidate will visit Colorado State University for a series of open forums at the Lory Student Center, Room 214-216. All forums will be held at 10-11:30 a.m.

CSFS invites CSU faculty and staff and the general public to attend the forums for a chance to ask questions and get to know the candidates. For anyone unable to attend the meetings, each forum will be webcast through the Warner College of Natural Resources website.

Feb. 26 - Michael Lester, assistant state forester, Field Operations, Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry.

Feb. 28 - Nathan McClure, chief forester, Forest Utilization and Markets Department, Georgia Forestry Commission.
