Campus study looking for participants

Want to lose weight but don't know where to start? The Physical Activity Laboratory is seeking healthy, non-smoking volunteers, aged 18-45 for a study on the calories burned during walking.

The study, Biomechanics and Energetics of Gradient Walking in Adults, will be headed by Ray Browning, a Ph.D. in the Health and Exercise Science department. Volunteers must be healthy non-smokers between the ages of 18 and 45.

Additional information

Participants should not currently be taking prescription medications or using any illicit drugs.

The study will require 3-4.5 hours total, consisting of three 1-2 hour visits to the lab. Compensation provided for participation.
