RamCT transition is in progress!

March 1, 2012

The transition to a new version of Learning Management System (RamCT Blackboard) is currently underway and will be completed to begin the summer semester in May 2012.

Fifty faculty and instructors and 2,000 students are now actively engaged in a pilot program this semester to help facilitate the transition.

The new version of the Blackboard product is substantially different from our current version so instructors are encouraged to begin familiarizing themselves with the system as soon as possible.

Resources available include:

All RamCT courses from the summer and fall semesters of 2011 have been migrated to the new system allowing instructors to update content and learn how to use the new system.

Access to the new system

Content from courses taught this semester will be migrated after this semester completes.

As a reminder, the current version of RamCT will not be used for teaching after this spring semester 2012, but will be available for retrieval of content, finalizing incompletes and/or grade disputes through May 2013.

ACNS is continuing to work diligently with the College RamCT coordinators to make this transition successful. Please contact your local coordinator for assistance or send questions to ramctsupport@colostate.edu.
