Ines da Silva

Ines Marques da Silva, an employee in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, passed away Friday, June 24, in a traffic accident in Nebraska.

Ines Da SilvaA celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 1 at Spring Canyon Park on Horsetooth Road at the shelters that are closest to Overland Trail. The celebration is a potluck and guests are encouraged to bring their favorite "Ines" food or drink. Anyone who would like to speak about Ines is welcome to do so, and may bring pictures of Ines, poems or written thoughts for a memorial poster board to honor her and to give to her family.

Ines Da Silva’s family in Portugal is seeking donations to help with the costs of her funeral. Donations may be made to Goes Funeral Care and Crematory Service, 3665 Canal Drive, Fort Collins. For more information call (970) 482-2221.
