Haiti Response information meeting Feb. 8

Are you saddened by what you are seeing on TV related to the Haiti earthquake? If so, we invite you to attend an informational meeting on the recovery effort taking place in Haiti.

Connect with other concerned students

Are you saddened by what you are seeing on TV related to the Haiti earthquake? Do you want to learn more about the best way to invest your time, money, or effort to most effectively support Haitian people? Do you want to connect with other students passionate about the future of Haiti?

If so, we invite you to attend an informational meeting on the recovery effort taking place in Haiti. We will present:

  • a brief history of Haiti
  • ways to most effectively get involved in the recovery effort
  • methods for ensuring that your time, money and efforts are best directed to help the Haitian people

Students will also have the opportunity to network with other students passionate about this issue.

The informational meeting will be held Monday, Feb. 8 from 4-5 p.m. in LSC Room 224.

This event is organized by the Office for Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement in conjunction with concerned faculty, staff, and students from across campus. For more information, please contact Jen Johnson.
