Broaden you horizons by attending International Film Nights every Wednesday and Thursday evening throughout the Fall 2010 semester.
The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is pleased to present International Film Nights this fall semester on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Eddy, Room 212, beginning at 7 p.m. Sept. 1 with Arabic Film Night and Sept. 2 with German Film Night.

A band composed of members of the Egyptian police force heads to Israel to play at the inaugural ceremony of an Arab arts center, only to find themselves lost in the wrong town. Winner of over 35 international film awards.
Kebab Connection (2004 - comedy)

Ibo is a young Turkish-German man who is an aspiring filmmaker. A clash of cultures and preparental anxiety ensues after Ibo's German girlfriend, Titzi, announces that she's pregnant. Ibo's father is upset at his son for wanting to start a family with a non-Turkish German woman while Titzi is upset at Ibo over his hesitance in taking on fatherly responsibilities.
Other themes are the competition of a Turkish kebab restaurant and a Greek taverna, a gang trying to extort the owner of the kebab restaurant, Ibo's quest to make the first German Kung-Fu movie and the pursuit of both Titzi and her roommate of spots at a prestigious drama academy.
