The Classified Personnel Council is pleased to announce that nominations for the Colorado State University Outstanding Achievement Awards for state-classified employees are now open.
Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, March 4.
Up to five awards will be given, consisting of a special plaque, an award of $1,000, and recognition at special events. Nomination materials become part of an employee's permanent record.
The Council is very proud of past winners and would like to invite everyone to become involved in this program. The Outstanding Achievement Awards present an important opportunity to recognize exceptional co-workers, employees, and supervisors.
We hope you will make every effort to nominate deserving employees. Nominations are encouraged from everyone – co-workers, peers, supervisors, or other colleagues – for all employees in the state-classified system. Group, department, or unit efforts to nominate individuals are encouraged. Be specific in your nomination: Why do you think this person should be recognized? What makes them an outstanding employee?
Classified Personnel Council Outstanding Achievement Award Committee members are available to assist you with any questions you might have concerning the preparation of your nomination.
If you have questions or need to obtain the nomination form, please feel free to contact Lori Bates at 491-2858.
Nomination forms and guidelines may also be viewed and downloaded from the main page of the CPC website under “Awards.”
Recipients of past awards are not eligible for a period of 10 years. A list of past recipients can be found on the CPC web site.
