Are you a Colorado State University state classified employee that is taking a class in 2010?

The Classified Personnel Council offers employee awards to assist classified employees seeking to move ahead in their jobs/careers. Awards will be made to employees based on need as demonstrated by their application.

Seven awards will be given in the amount of $300. Employees may use this award to meet any needs associated with further education, for example:

  • tuition
  • books
  • child care expenses
  • gas for traveling to class

Employees enrolled in many types of courses such as trade courses (welding, electrical, etc), additional certification, college courses at schools other than CSU, on-line courses are eligible to apply for the award.

Awards are granted once a year. Funds will be available to award recipients as soon as enrollment is verified any time during 2010.
