Nutrition Services at CSU Health Network hosts cooking class

September 30, 2009

Cooking class will help students cook quick and easy meals on a reasonable budget.

Feeling dazed and confused in the kitchen these days?

Let the Nutrition Services at CSU Health Network help you learn some basic cooking and shopping techniques while we teach you how to cook Italian food. Let’s face it- nobody has a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. Nutrition Services wants to show you how to get in and out of there in 30 minutes or less and do so on a budget.

In addition to learning how to prepare two delicious Italian dishes that are quick and easy, you’ll also learn some basic shopping tips to keep money in your wallet. And of course, you’ll be TASTEING these creations. We’ll also send you home with a $2 cookbook.

RSVP

The class will be held Thursday, Oct. 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Gifford Building, room 239. Please RSVP (so that we know how much food to buy) by Wednesday, Oct. 7 by calling CSU Network, Health Promotions front desk at 491-1702.
