Check out RAMweb for information regarding university billing, spring tuition charges, 1098-T tax forms and direct deposit.
Spring charges are scheduled to post on Wednesday, Jan. 4. The due date for these charges is Feb. 10, 2012. If you need additional time to pay, a payment deferral charge of 1.5 percent will be added monthly until the balance is paid in full. Balances must be paid before registering for future terms or leaving the University.
If you still need to register for spring but have a financial registration hold on your account, please pay any unpaid balance forward from your last University Billing Statement. Statements are viewable on RAMweb under the “Billing Information” or “Pay My Bill” links. If paying by check, please make sure that funds are available in your checking account to cover the check. If a check payment made to lift a registration hold for Spring 2012 registration is returned from the bank for any reason, enrollment for spring may be dropped.
We will be mailing 2011 1098-T tax forms by Jan. 31, 2012. To get your form quicker, sign up for electronic notification when your form is available to print through our third party vendor, ECSI. To sign up, go to RAMweb, select “Billing Information”, then “Electronic 1098-T forms.” Please sign up prior to Dec. 31. 1098-T forms are used to calculate possible educational tax credits.
For students anticipating a financial aid refund in spring 2012, get your money quicker by signing up for direct deposit refunds. Don’t wait to receive your check in the mail, or worry about the bank holding funds for days based on paper checks. Direct Deposit will get your money to you safely and quickly, and funds are available immediately, once they are deposited to your personal bank account.
Sign up for direct deposit on RAMweb by selecting “Ram Refund Direct Deposit.” Check refunds for full-time students will be generated and mailed on Friday, January 20th and should start being received in mailboxes by January 24th. Direct deposit refunds for full-time students are processed nightly beginning on Monday, Jan. 9. The first batch of direct deposit refunds should be in personal bank accounts by Thursday, Jan. 12. Part-time refunds are processed mid-February, once credit hours are confirmed after the end of the course add/drop period.
