Students and employees are encouraged to sign up for CSU's emergency text system.

Easy online registration

The registration system can be accessed by students and employees through RAMweb by logging in under the section called “Applicants and Current Students.” Once an eID is entered, click on the option “Change My Text Messaging Options” under the “Records” menu.

The text system does not track the location of recipients; students and employees registered for the system will receive an alert regardless of whether or not they are currently on campus or in the area of campus.

Larimer County alerts

Students and employees who live off-campus also are encouraged to sign up for alerts through Larimer County that can be tailored to home addresses. More information about that service is available at www.safety.colostate.edu/leta.aspx.
