Mind blowing sex education

February 10, 2009

"The J-Spot: A Sex Educator Tells All" is the mind-blowing lecture performance by Jay Friedman - an award-winning writer, speaker, sex educator and provocateur. Meet the man on a mission to change America.

Come one, come all

On Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 6-7:30 p.m., ASAP brings you J-Spot: A sex educator tells all! The presentation in the Lory Student Center Theater is free and open to the public.

This is a performance that breaks all the taboos in talking about sex. The speaker maintains that if people were more open, we’d avoid the dangers that result from sexual ignorance and instead enjoy healthy relationships and more pleasurable sexual lives.

Jay Friedman of the J-Spot, has been nominated multiple times as "Lecturer of the Year" by the National Association for Campus Activities and is professionally-certified as a sex educator by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists.

Stimulating the minds of student bodies

Time flies as Friedman addresses a whirlwind of issues that will get your students thinking and talking long after the curtain closes, such as:

  • three conditions to meet before having sex
  • how to make condoms feel oh-so-much better
  • the mysteriously missing sexual organ
  • why sex is better in Scandinavia
  • “Kegels with your Bagels”

The Three Ps

Personal, philosophical, and prophetic - Friedman delivers a “sexual state of affairs” address on where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re headed sexually—with the ultimate goal of helping everyone enjoy healthy relationships.

  • Prevention of pregnancy, disease and sexual violence.
  • Pleasure. Jay keeps the lecture positive and wildly fun with spine-tingling and sensible tips to increase sexual satisfaction.
  • Political/cultural climate. Jay doesn’t shy away from showing how attitudes in America actually cripple people with sexual ignorance while robbing them of the pleasure they deserve.
