Aconcagua expedition information session April 28

CSU faculty member Pat Rastall will lead a student expedition to Cerro Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside of Asia, in December 2010. Students interested in the trip can attend an informational meeting on April 28 to find out more.

Learn if mountaineering is for you

Interested in climbing the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere? Cerro Aconcagua, at 22,840 feet, is the highest peak outside of Asia and one of the famous Seven Summits of the world.

A Winter Break expedition to the mountain will depart December 26, 2010 and return just before spring semester starts in January 2011.

This short meeting will feature slides, handouts on pricing and dates, and a chance to meet the expedition leader, CSU faculty member Pat Rastall. Pat has summited Aconcagua over ten times and successfully led expedition to the mountain since 1986.
