CSU Student Information System unavailable July 16-17 for maintenance

CSU's Student Information System (known as ARIES), which processes and stores information related to students, courses, registration, and much more, has been scheduled for an upgrade and will be unavailable Saturday, July 16, and Sunday, July 17.

As a result, two popular web applications (RAMweb and ARIESweb) will also be unavailable during this upgrade. ARIES will be upgraded to take advantage of new functionality and bring CSU up-to-date with the most recent versions of applications.

Impact to Students:

RAMweb will not be available from 6:00 AM (MDT) Saturday, July 16, 2011 until 8 AM Monday, July 18, 2011. You will not be able to access any RAMweb features during this time. However, you will be able to access course materials you may have on RamCT as well as your @rams.colostate.edu account (if applicable).

Impact to Faculty/Staff:
 

ARIES (to include TWARBUS) and ARIESweb (to include RAMselect) will not be available from 6:00 AM (MDT) Saturday, July 16, 2010 until 8 AM Monday, July 18, 2011.

The following systems, services, web pages, etc. will be unavailable during this upgrade:

1) ARIES Student Information System
2) RAMweb
3) ARIESweb (including RAMselect)
4) Banner Document Management Suite (BDMS)
5) ARIES Workflow
6) TWARBUS

The following systems, services, web pages, etc. will not be affected by this upgrade:

1) RamCT
2) Online Admissions Application
3) Rams Mail (Google Apps)
4) Exchange
5) Webmail
6) eID
7) Campus Administrative Portal (CAP) (except ARIES related applications)
8) Kuali Financial System (KFS)
9) Operational Data Store (ODS)
10) Human Resources System
11) Rave Alert
12) Keyless (Card Key) Access
