Call for art submissions for Agora Gallery

Announcing the new gallery space on campus in the Behavior Sciences Building.

Artist's word wanted

Thirty-feet of wall space in the coffee lounge is now available for rotating student artwork.

The Agora Gallery is dedicated to sharing ideas and stirring conversation. Students of all disciplines are encouraged to submit their work for exhibition.

Nov. 19 is the deadline for the first submission of artwork for the Spring 2011 term.

Scheduling is on a first come first served basis for qualified students. Exhibits remain in the gallery for 90 days and must be sponsored by a CSU Faculty Member.

History of Agora gallery

For the ancient Greeks, the center of activity was the Agora, a lively marketpace where people came not only to buy and sell goods but, also to meet and exchange news and ideas. This gallery is dedicated to sharing ideas and stirring conversation through the display of community artwork.
