The Administrative Professional Council's Employment Committee received kudos from the CSU Employee Appreciation Board for being an outstanding work unit on campus. These employees volunteer their time staying on top of AP employees' employment needs and responding to their concerns.
The Colorado State University Employee Appreciation Board recently recognized the Administrative Professional Council’s Employment Committee for their hard work and dedication to CSU.
The committee members were treated to a breakfast and a raffle for prizes from the CSU Bookstore.
The Employment Committee consists of Joanna Holliday (chair), Angie Addie, Alex Carter, Alan Mertens, Anita Pattison, Jolynn Troudt and Woody Woodard. Guest members are Shaun Case, CJ Keist, Ronda Koski and Terri Pecora.
This committee works to address the employment needs and concerns of Administrative Employees on campus and provide the larger AP Council with the information necessary to better represent and advocate for Administrative Professional employees.
Currently the Employment Committee is working on providing input on many issues, including the upcoming campus climate survey, supervisor/leadership training, tuition stipends for employees, childcare options and lactation rooms.
Each of the members on this committee are serving in a voluntary role as representatives of the Administrative Professional Council. They fulfill their roles on this committee in addition to their daily responsibilities in their respective units.
Thank you Employment Committee, for helping make CSU a fantastic place to work!
The CSU Employee Appreciation Board, originally formed in 1968, recognizes employees for their hard work and promotes community spirit among CSU faculty and staff through events such as breakfasts or luncheons. Also, the Board each month hosts a prize drawing for all faculty and staff who submit an entry form – including a coveted reserved parking space for a full month.
The board meets monthly during the academic year to discuss and plan employee recognition events, as well as to help promote University events. One of the main objectives of the board is the monthly recognition of a group, entity, or college.
