Public invited to CSU basketball celebration

Want to add some hoops to your Cinco de Mayo celebration? Join fellow Ram fans Saturday night as they honor the 2011-12 men's basketball team.

New CSU coach Larry Eustachy will help celebrate the 2011-12 season.All CSU fans are invited to celebrate the 2012 men’s basketball season at a dinner Saturday night at the Canyon West Ballroom in the Lincoln Center.

The 6 p.m. event features new coach Larry Eustachy, former coach Tim Miles and Athletic Director Jack Graham. Departing seniors Kaipo Sabas and Will Bell will be honored.

Landmark season

The Rams are coming off their best season in recent memory, which included a 20-12 record, three wins over Top 25 teams, a 14-1 home mark and the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2003.

Miles part of the party

Miles, who left following the season to become Nebraska’s coach, and Eustachy, who led Southern Mississippi to the NCAA Tournament this season before taking over for Miles, will be the featured speakers.
