When preparing for finals, there are a few things to consider. Here are some common questions and answers regarding finals week.
Fall final exams are scheduled for Dec. 12-16.
You can find the finals schedule, as well as other information, by visiting the Registrar's Office website. Browse the schedule by time and day for when the course is taught and the exam day and time will be listed accordingly.
Also, be sure to check with your professor as he or she may have changed the date, time, or room.
The Morgan Library will have extended hours Nov. 22 through Dec. 16.
Finals Week hours are as follows:
Visit the Morgan Library for a full list of Morgan's extended hours.
Unfortunately, the TILT tutoring will be closed during the week of finals since most tutors are students as well. However, TILT does offer test-taking strategies workshops several times each semester- including the week prior to finals.
TILT's Great Hall and private study rooms will be open Sunday-Thursday until midnight during finals week.
According to the Registrar:
"If a student has three or more final examinations (not classes) scheduled for the same day or if conflicts of examination times occur, the student may negotiate a time change with the instructors involved. If the parties involved cannot find a mutually agreeable time, the Registrar's Office indicates which courses must be changed. Note: The Registrar’s Office must be notified at least one week prior to Final Examination Week to allow instructors time to make appropriate accommodations."
The Lory Student Center will be offering the late night breakfast on Dec. 11 from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. They will be serving free pancakes, orange juice and coffee. There will also be music, massages, trivia and prizes.
The first 800 students with their IDs will be let in.
