Tickets for Border War football game available now

November 17, 2009

Students can now get their free tickets for the football game against University of Wyoming on Nov. 27. By attending, not only will you be supporting the Rams in their last home game of the season, you will automatically be entered for a chance to win great prizes!

Support the CSU football team at the annual Border War

CSU students are encouraged to come out and support their football team in its final home game of the season, the Border War against Wyoming. The teams will battle for the Bronze Boot on Nov. 27.

To urge students to return to campus, pick up their free tickets and attend the game, the day after Thanksgiving, the CSU athletic department is doing two things.

Student tickets available this week

Free student tickets are being made available a week early, beginning Nov. 16, in the McGraw Center ticket office and the Lory Student Center box office. The McGraw Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Friday this week, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday of next week. The Lory box office is open daily until 6 p.m. Student tickets are not available for pick up on the day of the game.

Get tickets for a chance to win prizes

As an added incentive to support the Rams in their quest to beat rival Wyoming, CSU and the Associated Students of Colorado State University are teaming up to award three lucky students with complimentary tickets and parking to one of three CSU road games next season. The winners must be at the game to win.

First prize is pair of reserved seat tickets, a VIP parking pass and two alumni pregame tailgate tickets to the 2010 CSU-CU football game at Denver’s Invesco Field at Mile High. Two consolation prizes are a pair of tickets and parking to the 2010 CSU-Air Force contest in Colorado Springs, Colo., and a pair of tickets to the 2010 CSU-Wyoming game, with parking.

Students are encouraged to pick up their tickets early, as they are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Again, tickets will not be available on game day at Hughes Stadium.
