ASCSU reminder: live sustainably

October 3, 2011

The Associated Students of Colorado State want to encourage everyone on campus to live sustainably this year.

Reduce, reuse, recycle

The Associated Students of Colorado State University strives to be the student voice and represent student issues on and off campus. Promoting and maintaining green values on campus is a priority in the ASCSU office. Here are a few tips on how to be sustainable this year:

  • Single stream recycling is a very useful tool on our campus. All recyclable items can go into one container.
  • Save paper in the classroom; print the amount necessary for use and not excessive extra copies.
  • Neon colored paper cannot be recycled. Avoid these colors.
  • Bike to campus when possible; Fort Collins has a wonderful trail system. During the colder months, Transfort has discounted pass prices for faculty.
