Working at CSU

Division of Student Affairs staff transitions

July 1, 2010

This announcement will serve to inform the campus community of staff transitions taking place within the Division of Student Affairs effective July 1, 2010.

CSU Health Network leadership

Steve Blom has resigned from his position as the Executive Director of CSU Health Network as of June 30, 20I0. Our thanks go out to Steve for his many years of service to CSU and his lengthy career in college health. We wish him all the best as he spends a transition year working part-time serving as a Special Projects Coordinator on critical projects for the Health Network.

In this transition year, Anne Hudgens, Dean of Students, will focus entirely on the CSU Health Network as the Interim Executive Director. Anne has been very passionate about and involved with the Health Network. She has become immersed in the past few years regarding the issues related to College Health and has been very instrumental in the vision and implementation of many of the important strategic changes.

New interim Dean of Students

Jody Donovan, Associate Dean of Students will assume responsibility as the Interim Dean of Students and Craig Chesson, Director of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct Services will assume additional responsibilities as a primary back up to Jody for student emergency issues and other Division wide projects. The title of Assistant Dean of Students will be permanently added to his title. Kacee Collard Jarnot will also assume additional responsibilities related to Parent and Family Programs, the SAHE program, and for other general projects within the VPSA Office.

All of the new interim roles will officially take place July 1, 2010.
