Earn your teaching license at CSU

This program is an intensive 12-month cohort model that places teacher candidates in local schools where they learn from master teachers and university faculty. Applicants must earn their bachelor's degree by May 2012 in order to be eligible.

Program to obtain teaching license

Consider applying to the Teacher Licensure and Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education and Human Resource Studies program offered by the School of Teacher Education and Principal Preparation and the School of Education.

This program is an intensive 12-month cohort model that places teacher candidates in local schools where they learn from master teachers and university faculty. This model fosters the development of strong pedagogical skills, as well as a deep understanding of effective theories of learning.

Eligibility to apply

We are actively seeking applicants who have earned bachelor’s degree in the following content areas:

  • English
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Math

Applicants must earn their bachelor’s degree by May 2012 in order to be eligible for the 2012 cohort.

The application deadline for this program is Feb. 15, 2012. Program begins summer 2012.
