Shirley Anne Miller

Shirley Anne (Schwartzman) Miller, 77, passed away on May 24 at her residence in Fort Collins.

Shirley was born June 19, 1933 in Lansing, Mich. She is the daughter of Kenneth Frank Schwartzman and Vera Marie Martin.

She graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing, Mich. in 1951 and attended Montana State University, where she met her husband of 52 years, Charles Wesley (Wes) Miller.

Shirley lived in Montana, New Jersey, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Florida, Georgia, and El Salvador before moving to Fort Collins in 1972. Shirley obtained employment with the Colorado Water Institute at Colorado State University and retired after 30 years of service.

She is survived by her brother, Larry; a son Scott, son Curtis and his family, loving son Michael and his wife Jan and their family; daughter-in-law, Ana and her family; and a special friend Judith.

A memorial service will be held at Allnutt Drake Road Chapel at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 29. Reception to follow in the Allnutt Reception Center.
