SLiCE coordinating turkey drive

post

Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement is sponsoring a cash drive to support the purchase of turkeys for the Food Bank for Larimer County.

Help out neighbors

The holidays are a time when we need to particularly remember our neighbors who are going hungry and the thousands of Larimer County residents who will not have a turkey to dress this year. Sadly, half of those who are at risk of hunger in our county are children and seniors. You can help!

'Don’t be Jerky, Donate a Turkey'

The Office for Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement will be sponsoring a cash drive to support the purchase of turkeys and other Thanksgiving meal items for the Food Bank for Larimer County.

If you would like to make a donation, please bring cash or a check made out to “Food Bank for Larimer County” to the SLiCE office, located on the main level of the Lory Student Center, directly behind the Information Desk.

Donations should be made before 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19.
