Virtuoso Ilya Sinaisky

Born in Ukraine, Ilya Sinaisky immigrated to Israel and received his Master of Music from Tel Aviv University, then his doctoral degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Maryland School of Music. He's received numerous honors and awards, including the Robert McCoy Prize for excellence in collaborative piano at the University of Maryland.

Ilya Sinaisky studied abroad in Israel before coming to the U.S. for his doctorate in Collaborative Piano. He is an assistant professor at CSU.Monday, May 6

This evening of chamber music features works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, and others. There will be a reception immediately following the performance.

Sinaisky joined CSU faculty in the Fall’ 2012 as an assistant professor of Collaborative Piano. Prior to this appointment, he was an active performer and a teacher in Washington, DC area.
