Senior Week is an open celebration for all seniors graduating at any time during 2014. Graduating from CSU is an exciting milestone something to celebrate!
Senior Week officially begins Monday, May 5, with a photo challenge kickoff on Instagram. Be part of the fun by using the hashtag #ForeverRams14 now and through graduation. CSU will be sharing the best pictures that use this hashtag throughout Senior Week on social media and other venues. Each day, photo challenge winners will be selected by CSU’s social media team and will receive free CSU gear.
“First-year students are welcomed to campus with orientation and a large festival. As students graduate and transition to alumni, we created Senior Week to celebrate the legacy these seniors will leave behind,” said Audrey Wilson, graduate coordinator for student advancement programs. “This is a way to say ‘thank you’ to seniors for their countless hours of service and hard work, and to offer comfort by reminding seniors they are forever Rams.”
By using the #ForeverRams14 hashtag when sharing photos and tweets online, students will be creating CSU’s first crowd-sourced and digital story about the senior experience. Be on the lookout for the link to the online, pseudo-yearbook toward graduation.

Tickets for the commencement concert are free for seniors graduating spring, summer or fall 2014 with a valid CSU ID. Tickets are $5 for non-graduating students, faculty and staff. Tickets will be available at the iBox in the Lory Student Center on campus. The Candlelight Celebration is the last event for Senior Week, a program coordinated by the Office of CSU Events and Constituent Engagement.
“Serving on the Senior Year Experience Council to create an atmosphere that acknowledges and appreciates the work graduating students have put into making their mark at CSU is an honor,” said Zack Zeilik, senior member of Theta Chi and Student Alumni Associates representative for the Senior Year Experience Council. “It is really exciting to share this week with my fellow senior Rams.”
Senior Week 2014 is an initiative from the Senior Year Experience Council in collaboration with the Office of CSU Events and Constituent Engagement, ASAP and CSU External Relations.
