Outstanding Achievement deadline Friday

January 25, 2013

Deadline to nominate outstanding State Classified employees for recognition - and $1,000 - is March 1.

The Classified Personnel Council is pleased to announce that nominations for the Colorado State University Outstanding Achievement Awards for state classified employees must be submitted by 5 p.m., Friday, March 1.

Up to five awards will be given, consisting of a special plaque, an award of $1,000, and recognition at special events. Nomination materials become part of an employee's permanent record.

The Outstanding Achievement Awards present an important opportunity to recognize exceptional co-workers, employees, and supervisors at the university. CPC hopes everyone will make every effort to nominate deserving employees.

CPC Outstanding Achievement Award Committee members are available to assist with any questions concerning the preparation of your nomination. If you have questions or need to obtain the nomination form, please contact Debra Parker at Debra.Parker@ColoState.Edu.

Nomination forms may also be viewed and downloaded from the main page of the CPC website, www.cpc.colostate.edu, under “CPC Awards.”

Nomination Guidelines

Nominations are encouraged from everyone - co-workers, peers, supervisors, or other colleagues - for all employees in the state classified system. Group, department, or unit efforts to nominate individuals are encouraged. Be specific in your nomination: Why do you think this person should be recognized? What makes them an outstanding employee?

Recipients of past awards are not eligible for a period of 10 years. A list of past recipients can be found on the CPC website. To insure fairness and consistency when submitting nominations, please follow the guidelines on the website.
