CSU Magazine: We've gone digital!

August 28, 2013

The first digital issue of Colorado State Magazine has been launched and is now available for free download.

The Summer 2013 edition of the magazine, which chronicles stories about CSU, faculty, students and alumni, is available for immediate download on iPad tablets. Free downloads are available at the iTunes store. If you don’t have an iPad, you can still read the PDF version.

“We are very pleased to unveil our first digital edition of Colorado State Magazine,” said Tom Milligan, CSU’s vice president for external relations. “Our readers and supporters have been asking for a digital version of the magazine so they can share their favorite stories. Going digital gives us the opportunity to use videos and photos to amplify our stories to share them with a much broader audience.”

Same great stories, new format

The latest edition includes a story about CSU’s historic men’s basketball season, the tale of an unlikely star in the men's club polo program, profiles of veterans studying at CSU, and the story of CSU’s Equine Reproduction Laboratory rising from the ashes following a devastating fire. There’s also a piece illustrating the internationalization of campus.

Included are usual features like class notes and alumni profiles, and stories about winners of the 2013 “Best Teacher” award. Videos and photo slideshows help illustrate the stories.

Print version returns this fall

While this issue is not available in the traditional print version, which debuted at CSU in 1992, future issues will be available in both print and online versions.
