MBB: CSU bows out to No. 2 Louisville

One after another after another after another, the Louisville Cardinals kept coming. And there was nothing Colorado State could do to stop them. CSU’s season came to an end on Saturday, dropping an 82-56 contest to No. 2 Louisville in the third round of the NCAA tournament. Read more.

WP: Rams learn from tournament

The CSU water polo team faced four nationally ranked teams over the weekend, coming away from the tournament 1-5. While the record wasn’t what the Rams hoped for, associate head coach Mike Moody believes the competition will help his team down the stretch. Read more.

MGO: Rams finish 7th in Arizona

Colorado State managed to card a 295 (+11) in the final round of the 2013 Desert Shootout, good for a final score of 861 (+9).  The Rams finished in sole possession of 7th place. Read more.

S&D: Fuller shines at NCAA Championships

Senior Breann Fuller, who earlier this season qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 100 and 200 Backstroke events, finished 24th in both events over the weekend, concluding her illustrious career as one of the best in CSU history. The places were CSU’s highest individual finishes since 2004. Read more.

Tennis: Rams earn victory over Cal State Los Angeles

The Colorado State women’s tennis team won its third dual match against Cal State Los Angeles, 6-3, Wednesday, in the final match of their road trip. Read more.

T&F: Wind favors Rams at Tom Benich Invitational

Working through a condensed meet due to the inevitable threat of snow, Colorado State shined at the Tom Benich Invitational at Nottingham Field Friday. Read more.

MBB: Rams earn NCAA tourney win over Missouri

CSU led nearly wire to wire Thursday, defeating No. 9-seed Missouri, 84-72, in the second round of the NCAA tournament. It was CSU’s first tournament win since 1989. Read more.

SB: CSU shuts out Marist; remainder of tourney cancelled

The Colorado State softball team was expected to hold practice on Thursday afternoon. Instead, they held a hitting clinic, shutting out Marist, 17-0, in five innings at Ram Field. Snow the rest of the weekend, however, canceled the remainder of the tournament. Read more.
