Learn the real facts about milk from a panel of experts moderated by Colorado State University Clinical Sciences Professor Franklyn Garry.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Experts in the field will be available to answer questions such as:

  • Is raw milk safe?
  • What’s the difference between organic and conventional milk?
  • Do we need to worry about hormones in our milk?

This town hall style meeting is a rare opportunity to hear the facts regarding milk and where it comes from directly from the most renowned experts in the industry. Clinical Sciences Professor Frank Garry, D.V.M, will moderate.

The panel of experts is as follows:

  • Bruce Vandesteeg – Monte Vista Dairy, conventional dairy farmer
  • Meg Cattell – Windsor Dairy, raw milk and organic milk farmer
  • Guy Jordarski, D.V.M. – Organic Valley Coop, consultant veterinarian
  • Phillip Tong – Cal Poly, dairy science nutritionist
  • Anne Christine Nyquist, M.D. - Children’s Hospital, pediatrician

Most of us eat or drink dairy products every day; spare a couple of hours Thursday evening to finally lean the facts behind them!
