Head Coach Tom Hilbert announced a pair of additions to the Colorado State women’s volleyball team Wednesday. Crystal Young signed her National Letter of Intent to play with the Rams, while Grace Gordon was added as a walk-on. Colorado State men's basketball head coach Larry Eustachy and guard Dwight Smith jointly announced Tuesday afternoon that Smith has been granted a release from his scholarship at CSU. Smith, a redshirt junior guard, will complete his bachelor's degree in communication studies this semester and can be immediately eligible to compete for one season at another institution. Read more.
For two consecutive weeks senior Jessica Sharbono has won two of the three throwing events in which she participated, and for two consecutive weeks she’s been rewarded with the Mountain West’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week honor. Rising seniors Marlee Reynolds and Kelsey Snider will represent Colorado State on the 2014 Mountain West Global Challenge All-Star Volleyball Team. Comprised of 12 of the top players in the conference, the team will spend 12 days in Europe competing against several junior national and top club teams. Read more.
