Teacher Job Fair April 14

The Career Center at Colorado State University is hosting a Teacher Job Fair 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14 in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom. The Teacher Job Fair is an opportunity for Colorado school districts and teacher candidates to discuss career options and employment opportunities.

Reps from dozens of Colo. schools

The Teacher Job Fair provides an opportunity for licensed teachers in all certification areas to meet with hiring officials from dozens of school districts in Colorado. The event is open to the public.

All teacher candidates will check in at the Career Center in Lory Student Center Basement Room 26 starting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14.

Collect resumes, interviews

During this event, employers will collect resumes and interview teacher candidates for the next academic year.


7:30 - 8 a.m. Registration and/or Check-In

8 - 10 a.m. Interview sign-up at each school districts table 

10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. 30-minute individual interviews conducted

A limited number of school districts will be opting to also interview on a second day, Thursday, April 15, at the Career Center. On the list of attending school districts it will be indicated if they will be conducting interviews on a second day.

Free to CSU teacher candidates and alumni

There is no charge for CSU teacher candidates and alumni to attend. The registration fee on the day of the event for the public will be $50. To participate in the Fair, candidates must intend to graduate and be licensed to teach by Aug. 2010, or already be licensed.
