'John Fielder: All Photography' Feb. 3

Want to become a better photographer? Come learn from the best. Professional photographer John Fielder, known for his landscape photography, is set to speak to CSU students about photography on Feb. 3 in the Lory Student Center Theatre.

Colorado landscape photographer visits CSU

Well-known Colorado photographer John Fielder will give a lecture titled "John Fielder: All Photography" in the Lory Student Center Theatre on Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m

The lecture is designed to help you "see" a good photograph when you are setting it up.

Fielder has been photographing Colorado landscapes for over 30 years. He travels long distances annually to capture Colorado's natural beauty.

Drawing to win prizes

His photography has been published in over 30 books, including Colorado 1870-2000, Colorado's best-selling book ever. Fielder is also known as an advocate for the conservation of nature.

Lecture attendees will have the chance to enter into a drawing to win prizes such as a digital camera, photography equipment, a private photography workshop with Fielder, photography books, and more. There will also be a book-signing with Fielder.

Get your cameras ready

This lecture will be accompianied by a photography workshop from CSU photo-journalism professor Pete Seel. The workshop will take place on Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Grey Rock Room. It is open to everyone, so bring your digital camera!
