The Birds, the Bees, and the Beasties

The Twilight Garden Series is an annual event which features local gardening experts. Come take advantage of the knowledge base that is created by research and practice in these fields by CSU, regional organizations, and area experts.

The last presentation in the 2014 Twilight Garden Series will cover pollinators for your plants, how to deter damage to your landscape from wildlife, and how to attract birds.

You may sign up on-site from 6-6:30 p.m. The cost of this single session is $10.


  • "Pollinators" – Whitney Cranshaw, Professor and Extension Specialist in the CSU Department of Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management
  • "Preventing wildlife issues" – Kevin Cook, local naturalist
  • "Attracting birds" – Peggy Heimbrook, Professor Emeritus at University of Northern Colorado and Larimer County Master Gardener

The Twilight Garden series talks are held outdoors, rain or shine. Admission to the event includes refreshments and the opportunity to win door prizes.
