Former DPS superintendent named CU-Denver interim chancellor

Former Denver Public Schools superintendent Jerry Wartgow has been named interim chancellor of the University of Colorado-Denver. University of Colorado President Bruce D. Benson also appointed Lilly Marks vice president for health affairs and executive vice chancellor at the university's Anschutz Medical Campus.

The two will take over from Dr. M. Roy Wilson, who resigned, effective June 30.

Wartgo officially starts Aug. 3. Marks will begin her new duties June 30.
