Metalsmithing at CSU Nov. 16-19

Intermediate and advanced students of metalsmithing at CSU will exhibit their work Nov. 16-19 in the Glass Box Gallery, Visual Arts Building. The exhibit's opening reception is on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m. See these wonderful pieces reflecting the themes and approaches that express these students' artistic, intellectual, and philosophical explorations.

Please join the CSU Metalsmithing and Jewelry department for the opening reception of (Re)formation/(De)formation: Metalsmithing at CSU.

This exhibition features vessels, jewelry, and other objects made by intermediate and advanced metalsmithing students.

The exhibition is on display:

  • Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19

The Glass Box Gallery is located in the main hall of the Visual Arts building. Light refreshments will be served.

Metalsmithing and jewelry at CSU offers students the opportunity to explore a range of traditional metalsmithing techniques and processes, while emphasizing formal and conceptual development within their own artistic practice.

Metalsmithing involves balancing the technical and aesthetic aspects of art making.
