Tuition Classification Office accepting nominations for Residency Appeals Committee

The CSU Tuition Classification Office is accepting nominations for a University administrative staff member to serve on the University's Residency Appeals Committee. This committee hears student appeals of residency decisions made by the University's Tuition Classification Officer.

The committee reviews the original residency petition, related information, Colorado state statutes, and the student’s letter of appeal before rendering a decision. The Residency Appeals Committee is the final residency review and decision-making body at Colorado State University.

Two-year commitment required

The four-member committee consists of one faculty member, two administrators, and one student. Members are asked to commit two – four hours per week for eight to 10 weeks each academic semester. A minimum two-year commitment is required. Meetings are scheduled at times most convenient for the committee members. Currently, meetings are scheduled for Thursdays 3 to 4:30 p.m., but are subject to change.
