S&D: Split squad in action

The Rams will split their efforts this weekend with two of their largest invitationals of the season. The swimmers will take on eight of the top teams from across the country at the Las Vegas Invite in Las Vegas, Nev., Thursday-Saturday. Simultaneosly CSU’s intimidating diving squad will battle its own top rivals at the Missouri Tiger Invitational in Columbia, Mo. Read more.

MBB: Rams fall at UTEP

In a wild game that featured a combined 54 fouls and 76 free-throw attempts, the Colorado State men’s basketball team (2-2) came up just short in its come-from-behind bid vs. the host UTEP Miners (3-1) on Tuesday evening, falling 82-74 in front of 7,137 fans at the Don Haskins Center. Read more.

VB: Undefeated Rams hit road

The undefeated Colorado State volleyball program (25-0, 16-0 MW) takes its final road trip of the 2013 regular season, traveling to face San Jose State and Fresno State on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Read more.

MBB: All single-game tix on sale

With the Colorado State men’s basketball team slated to tip off a 10-game home stand on Friday, the CSU Department of Athletics announced Tuesday that single-game tickets for all remaining home games, including the Rams’ Dec. 3 matchup against arch rival Colorado and the entire Mountain West home schedule, will be on sale to the public beginning Thursday at 10 a.m. MT. Colorado State women’s golf Head Coach Annie Young wrapped up her first recruiting class in Fort Collins when Lisa Unterganschnigg signed a National Letter of Intent on Monday morning. Read more.

FB: Rams travel to Utah State Saturday

Colorado State (6-5, 4-2) will conclude its road schedule at Utah State (6-4, 5-1) in a pivotal Mountain West Mountain Division matchup. The Rams, who have rattled off three consecutive road conference wins for the first time since 2002-03, return to Logan, Utah where in 2011 they defeated the Aggies 35-34 in double overtime. The Colorado State men's cross country team continues to be recognized for its stellar season under second-year Head Coach Art Siemers. The Rams enter Week 7, championship week, ranked No. 27 in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I National Coaches' Poll. Read more.

VB: Foss named MW Player of the Week

For the second time this season, Colorado State junior Deedra Foss has been named the Mountain West Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week. The MW made the announcement Monday after Foss led CSU (25-0, 16-0 MW) to a pair of victories, helping the Rams win their fifth consecutive conference championship. Read more.

On Monday morning the Mountain West named running back Kapri Bibbs the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week. This is the second consecutive week Bibbs has earned the Mountain West weekly honor. Read more.

FB: Game vs. Air Force on Nov. 30 set to kick off at noon

The Mountain West today announced that Colorado State's Nov. 30 home football game against Air Force will kick off at 12 p.m. MT and will be streamed via ESPN3. Read more.

VB: Rams stay steady at No. 10 in AVCA poll

For the third consecutive week, the undefeated Colorado State volleyball team held steady at No. 10 in the AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll, released Monday. The Rams earned 993 total points, 10 more than a week ago. Read more.
