Tone your hips, abs and thighs with Pilates

Pilates classes available at the Rec Center as part of the Mind Body program.

What is pilates?

Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that strengthen and stretch the entire body. We focus on core strength, giving you an incredibly effective workout for your waist, hips and thighs, as well as the rest of the body.

Pilates builds long, lean muscles, improves posture and flexibility, and helps stabilize neck and back injuries.

Beginning and intermediate classes available

Beginning Pilates is available through our Mind Body program. If you have had experience in pilates consider:

Beginning/Intermediate Pilates Mat Activity Class
  • Section 1: Jan. 31- March 9 (6 weeks); Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Section 2: March 21-April 27 (6 weeks); Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.


  • $84 CSU Student Member/ Rec Center Member rate
  • $113 CSU Eligible Nonmember rate (see membership information for eligibility)
  • $123 Community Nonmember rate
