Learn Web Design basics in four sessions

Note: A basic proficiency with Photoshop is required.

Beginning Web Layout with HTML/CSS

This free, four session short course will teach you how to create web documents using World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards.

Taught by Ben O'Connor, an instructor in the Journalism & Technical Communication department, who teaches a full-semester course at CSU and does web design professionally.

Topics include:

  • Basic HTML coding
  • Effective use of style sheets (CSS)
  • Appropriate use of images and multimedia
  • Image preparation
  • Multimedia elements

Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays, Feb. 21-March 2, 6-8 p.m.
